I'm a user experience designer who also has 5+ years of software development experience. I'm meticulous when it comes to refining my design through conducting user research and iterating on research findings.
I view myself as someone who is passionate about understanding the user above all else. I love the challenge and reward of finding the balance between representing the voice of the user and meeting stakeholders' expectations.
As far as tools go, I recently discovered and fell in love with Adobe XD. My philosophy of design is to create templates, refine processes and iterate. When I find what works, I apply those principles to new projects to increase efficiency and output.
When I'm not discussing and learning new design insights with my colleagues, I enjoy spending time volunteering in the inner-city to help alleviate addiction, poverty and violence.
